The Tone Chaser was the amplifier that helped define what I wanted GOSH to be.

I started with one of my favorite foundations: the classic high-powered British single-channel amplifier. I wanted to preserve the punch, authority, and responsiveness that make those circuits so special, but expand the range of sounds available without turning the amp into something overly complicated.

The result is a 100-watt amplifier built around a simple idea: one great signal path with enough control to completely change its personality.

A major part of that is the four-position Gain Structure control. Rather than simply adding more gain, each position changes how the amplifier responds and breaks up. It can move from lower-gain, open and dynamic sounds to increasingly aggressive saturation while maintaining the punch and clarity you expect from a 100-watt EL34 amplifier.

The EQ was also reworked to give each control a wider and more useful range, allowing the amp to adapt easily to different guitars, cabinets, rooms, and playing styles.

At lower gain settings, the Tone Chaser is big, clear, and responsive. Push it harder and it becomes thick, aggressive, and saturated without losing definition.

It's still intentionally straightforward: one channel, a handful of controls, and no unnecessary complexity.

The Tone Chaser is about taking the feel and power of the British amps that inspired me and giving the player a much wider range of usable sounds without losing what made those amps exciting in the first place.
